The Best Movies And Acting Performances Of 2007
As a major movie fan I feel as if the oscar awards and golden globe awards presentations are not accurate in recognizing the best actors and actresses of the entertainment industry, along with the best movies of each year. So I have done a lot of research and compiled a big list of the best movies and actors of the year which was two thousand and seven.
Best Movies:
1. American Gangster. A fantastic film, even though the details of the real life events were not accurate. It was an edge of the seat thriller.
2. Juno. Very funny, a typical teenage film which goes beyond and becomes a top class film for all audiences.
3. No Country For Old Men. Very violent which seems to be what the modern audiences want. It had a good story of revenge which was fantastic to see. Some great acting performances in it as well.
Best Actors and Actresses:
1. Denzel Washington. For a great role as a major crime boss, which recognizes him as the greatest actor in the world and he has been for the past couple of years.
2. Angelina Jolie. For her role in Almighty heart. The fact that she was not even nominated shows how inaccurate the major award ceremonies can be.
3. Ellen Page. A fantastic young up and coming actress. She is developing very quickly and played the different comedy and drama parts of the movies very well. Showing a diverse role with all her natural talent.
As you can see some performances went unrecognized at the major award ceremonies. I am a bit annoyed at it, but this has been going on for years. And we are finally watching decreasing viewing ratings of the oscar awards ceremonies which is a long time coming and can be blamed on these inaccuracies in the awards.
