Survey Scout is one of many websites these days offering information for home surveys. As anyone who frequently browses the internet for working opportunities knows survey scams are constant and everywhere. When I first decided that I was going to give a go at making money on the internet, I tried surveys. It seemed as though it would be a perfect means to make money. I liked to answer questions and the knowledge that my input would help future products which I may very well purchase was satisfying. I tried so many surveys and never received a single cent. So recently when I found Survey Scout I was a bit suspicious. Yet, I figured I would give it a go. I learned long ago that life is more rewarding when you take chances, financially and otherwise.

My experience was as follows..

The first thing I noticed when I paid for my membership and saw the members room, was how professional it looked. Many site owner's use cookie cutter websites that look like something a high school student threw together in a web design 101 course. Yet, it was obvious to me that the site was designed by professionals. The next aspect of the member's area I noticed was that there was an enormous list of survey companies, 400+ to be more exact. I've seen large lists before which are meaningless, so my judgment was still reserved. I then signed on some of the company websites and a few hours later I received an emails several hours later. The first survey I chose to take was for a credit card company and it took 20 minutes and a few days later I received $20 in my PayPal account. The key with Survey Scout is to make sure you sign up with as many companies as possible. Signing up for one or two will most likely not make you much money, with this particular site it is all about volume. My advice is to create another email account just for your Survey Scout endeavors.

The negative.

The fact that you need to sign up with many companies is bit of a nuisance; like most Americans I like a one stop shop, but Survey Scout is not such a place. I did not work with it for long because I have other internet ventures but the price, less than $40 seems pretty reasonable for the information provided. I also read in forums that they have no problem issuing refunds if you are unsatisfied. All and all one of the better online survey sites I have come across.
