Before you get start, you have to make sure that you have the necessary tools:

1) PSP - Playstation Portable

2) A PSP Pro Duo Memory Stick (Typically you want one around 512 MB, but the bigger the space the more movies you will be able to fit)

3) A Computer with a DVD-Rom drive to copy your movies from DVD

4) A DVD ripping program to transfer video from a DVD to your computer

5) A PSP video file converter (you can find one at the link at the bottom)

6) A USB cable so that you can connect your PSP to your computer

Make sure you have everything you need before you get started. It is all necessary to completely transfer your favorite movie to your PSP. After you have gathered them, follow these steps and you will be on your way to watching movies anywhere!

- First, use your DVD ripping program to copy a movie to your computer.

- Second, open up the PSP video converter program and select the file that you made with the last step. You should end up with an .MP4 file. This is the final file you will transfer to your PSP.

- Third, connect your PSP and computer with your USB cable. Open up your PSP files and create a new folder called "MP_ROOT". In this folder, make another folder called "100MNV01". Copy the MP4 file to this folder.

- Fourth, disconnect the USB cable from the PSP, open up videos on it and voila! You should be able to view your favorite movies now!
