Compaq Presario C700t
The Compaq Presario C700T is one member of the HP Notebook Series with the 15.4 inches widescreen with a WXGA High-Definition HP BrightView .The external appearance of the notebook is black in color with some gray accents. The keyboard is grayish silver in color and the entire notebook is more or less made of plastic but still looks durable.
It has the power button on the top in the center along with a Wi-Fi button to its left. The notebook like other notebook of the HP Series also has two Altec Lansing speakers which are above the keyboard.
The notebook has the standard 86-keys, and the "ctrl' key is to the outside of the function key like the other notebooks. A light is there to the left of caps lock key which turns blue when the caps lock key is activated. Also there is light for the Wi-Fi button which turns blue when it is turned on for activation and red when it is turned off.
The entire keyboard is also gray-silver plastic body with the black colored touchpad made of plastic. It also has a indicator which tells whether the touch pad is turned off or on by the user.
It also has the status lights for power on the lower left corner of notebook, a charging indicator, and also a Wi-Fi button. It has two user removable covers at the bottom, where the first is the Hard drive cover and second the cover for CPU, RAM slots and the Broadcom Wireless Card. It also has the Ethernet, USP Port and VGA port on the left hand side.
There is an inbuilt microphone above the screen which makes chatting more fun for the user as the picture is easily visible to the other person sitting on the opposite side. It also has the features available for the wireless, to update the drivers along with a 30-days trial version of the Norton Antivirus and MS Office which is really nice.
The notebook runs conveniently on either the Vista Home Basic or the Vista Home Premium operating system. It has the Intel Pentium Dual core Processor.
