A Bundle Of Joy
A bundle of joy!! That's the best way to describe that perfect little stranger that is going to join your family or a friend's family. Whether it's a boy or girl, it doesn't matter, as long as it has the ten fingers & ten toes and is healthy! And, of course you have to have the baby shower! A great way to show support to the soon to be parents and to help them get prepared for the endless list of baby items they will need.
A perfect baby shower will include a guest list of the new parent's closest family & friends, some great food, and of course the great presents. Throw in some fun and amusing games and you have the perfect afternoon.
Can't figure out the perfect gift for that perfect afternoon? Many online sites has baby gift baskets that are filled with all the items the new parents will need and they are completely adorable (which is what that baby will be). All the guests will be "ooohing and aaahing" over your gift and the parents will be loving being able to check off one more necessity they don't have to buy.

Of course one of the Welcome Baby Boy or Girl baskets would make a perfect centerpiece on the table with the cake, punch & munchies. For a really easy recipe for some yummy cookies, use 1 cup of peanut butter, one cup of sugar and one egg. Mix them up, drop by the spoonfuls on to a cookie sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes @ 325 degrees. That's all there is to it. For a fun twist, add chocolate chips to the dough, or drizzle caramel on top while they are still warm. Double or even triple the recipe depending on how many guests you are expecting.
If you still don't think you have time, there are delicious cookie combos that you can order along with the gift basket. They are even wheat free and flour free for the sensitive stomachs or the carb conscious guests. Delicious and unique. Simply unwrap and place on a plate. If you have the shower at around 1pm, it's after lunchtime and you can simply have a veggie tray and a plate of cookies and not have to worry about serving lunch.
No matter what your role is in the baby shower, if you're throwing it or just attending, a baby gift basket will save the day!
